CEO

Sha has over 15 years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, ranging from commercial roles to technical,  Quality Control, formulation, and manufacturing roles.

This isn't Sha's first business venture, he has previously built a successful contract laboratory and other ventures.

Quality Assurance Manager

Desi's background is broad-ranging; her areas of expertise include Quality Control, Technical and Quality Assurance. She has prior experience of setting up a contract laboratory, and is responsible for designing, implementing and managing Aspire's Quality Management System.

Quality Assurance Officer

Tayyaba is an experienced Quality Control (QC) and Microbiological Testing Specialist with five years of experience at the company. She has developed strong skills in both QC and micro testing, ensuring product quality and safety. Known for her attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, Tayyaba excels in maintaining high standards and addressing microbial risks which promoted her to a QA position. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and is renowned for her unbeatable home-cooked brownies.

 Junior QC Analyst & Lead Supply Chain

Mahamud joined Aspire Laboratories in 2023 as a pharmaceutical graduate with a background in pharmacy and retail. Since then, he has distinguished himself as both a team player and a valuable team member. He has learnt to both work in the lab and also build relationships with our suppliers in line with the company values.

Outside of work, Mahamud enjoys playing football and is a dedicated Chelsea supporter. Known on the field as the "King of Nutmegs," his passion for the game mirrors his commitment and enthusiasm in his professional role.

QC Analyst

Hemanshu Patel is a skilled Quality Control (QC) Analyst at Aspire Laboratories, dedicated to ensuring product quality and safety. He specializes in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), and Karl Fischer Titration (KF), accurately analysing complex mixtures and measuring moisture content to meet stringent standards. 

Outside of work, Hemanshu is an avid supporter of Liverpool Football Club, passionately following their matches and enjoying the camaraderie of being a dedicated fan. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing FIFA online, humorously noting his frequent losses but valuing the fun and competitive spirit the game brings.

QC & Micro Analyst

Eva joins us from Greece, bringing dual expertise in both microbiological and quality control (QC) testing. With extensive experience in microbial analysis, Eva excels in identifying and studying microorganisms to ensure product safety and quality. Her proficiency in QC testing includes advanced techniques such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), KF and other techniques

Outside the lab, Eva enjoys exploring new cuisines, bringing her adventurous spirit to the culinary world. She also loves reminiscing about the sunshine back home in Greece, balancing her professional dedication with personal passions.

Microbiologist         

Prasoona  is an experienced microbiologist with a strong background in microbial analysis and research. She excels in identifying and studying microorganisms, ensuring product safety and quality across various industries. With expertise in advanced laboratory techniques and a meticulous approach to data interpretation. Outside the lab, Prasoona enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the great outdoors, balancing her professional dedication with personal passions.

QC Analyst

Sam is a QC analyst with a degree in BSc Chemistry (Class 2020) and joins us from another GMP laboratory. She is very passionate about the development of new analytical methods and analytical transfer work. She is also a very passionate supporter of West Ham!

QC Lab cleaner

Lana is a meticulous QC Lab Cleaner at Aspire Laboratories, dedicated to maintaining a pristine and safe environment essential for laboratory operations. With a keen eye for detail, Lana ensures all workspaces meet rigorous cleanliness standards, supporting accurate and uncontaminated testing results. Her duties include sanitizing surfaces, managing waste disposal, and adhering strictly to cleaning protocols crucial for maintaining quality control measures.
