Microbiological Testing

Our microbiology lab tests for non-sterile products as per the latest pharmacopoeia guidelines. We cover testing on pharmaceutical, cosmetics, specials, herbal, and nutraceuticals products, including the associated validation requirements. Our standard range of QC Micro tests are listed below. 

Microbial Limits Testing

The Microbial Limits Test gives a quantitative and qualitative of specific viable microorganisms in samples.


We carry out the Microbial Limits Testing by 

- Total Aerobic Microbial Count (TAMC)  

- Total Yeast and Moulds Count (TYMC).

Microbial ID Testing

 

The Maldi TOF it is considered good practice to assess all organisms detected within controlled environments. Doing so supports more effective trend analysis of environmental monitoring results and helps facilities evaluate and enhance their operational processes.

By combining conventional techniques such as staining and biochemical testing with advanced analytical technologies, Aspire is able to deliver rapid and precise identification of microorganisms.


 

  • Identify up to 96 samples in just 15 minutes, compared to 18+ hours required by most phenotypic methods and PCR systems

Water Testing

We perform micro testing on water:

  • Total count
  • Coliform screen
  • Pathogen screen

We also carry out chemical testing for water.

Absence Of Pathogens

This method determines the presence or absence of specified pathogens that can include combinations of the following microorganisms:

  

- Escherichia coli

- Salmonella spp

- Pseudomonas aeruginosa

- Staphylococcus aureus

- Clostridia spp

Preservative Efficacy Test (PET)

Also known as "Challenge Testing", Aspire Labs tests samples to evaluate the efficacy of preservation of a product against microbial contamination.
